We decided to make one more attempt to find the elusive Craft Complex before our flight to Bangkok in the afternoon. This time we found it! We were so close the previous day. If we had just followed the street signs rather than our map, we would have found it. We were less than one block away when we turned down the road suggested by our map. The Craft Complex contained a number of shops specializing in local and regional crafts. We picked up an abstract painting of the Petronas Towers, a pewter box, and some batik decorated gift boxes. I also found a colorful woven purse. It was fun to shop but, man, it was hot! There was no air conditioning in the complex.
